Permanent, Full-Time Appointments

All occupations are permanent, full-time appointments except if in any case expressed in the declaration. The following advantages are accessible:

Paid Leave: Vacation leave is earned at the rate of four hours fortnightly. Leave accrual increases every three years until eight hours of leave are earned every other week for at least twelve years of service. Sick leave is earned at the rate of four hours every other week. There are eleven paid holidays every year.

Health and Dental Insurance: Three group medical coverage plans are offered - a network open access plan, a point-of-service plan, and a health maintenance company.

A group dental insurance plan is also offered. The County pays an important portion of the premium for these plans for representatives and their dependents. A discount vision plan is accommodated eye care needs.
