System Administrator Job


Searching for an Allround System Administrator for a global IT organization. From its Amsterdam office, you'll be liable for all office IT for your partners across the other European workplaces.

As Allround System Administrator you will be liable for keeping the workplace IT running for your associates across all levels in the different EMEA workplaces.

Among your duties:

  • Oversee laptops/desktops, servers, printers, software, and devices;
  • Investigate equipment and software issues onsite and remotely;
  • Help with the setup & deployment,
  • Investigating of telephone systems;
  • Give direction to new representatives, and work with HR on-boarding/off-boarding process;
  • Make documentation and manuals;
  • Guarantee back-up and security systems;
  • Inform on the acquisition with respect to new equipment and software.
  • The compensation for this position is somewhere in the range of 3500 and 4000 euro gross per month (depending upon knowledge and experience). Secondary advantages incorporate a bonus of up to 10%, pension commitment, and stock opportunities.


Requirements:

The System Administrator we are searching for is foremost a reasonable communicator with a solid focus on tackling issues and discovering solutions.

Next to that you have:

* Technical and expert skills on a BSc level;
* At least 4 years of experience with a System Administrator position;
* Up to date knowledge on and experience over the typical office IT spaces;
* Extensive knowledge on both Microsoft/Windows and Apple/macOS;
* Basic knowledge on systems administration; * Experience with ticketing systems;
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken in (Dutch is a major plus)
