Space "will turn into the next front of the cyber clash"
As many as 1,000 enrolled faculty and 130 officials at
present in Air Force cyber security jobs will be approached to join the U.S.
Space Force.
The chose aviators from cyber security career fields also
have expertise in space programs and could be moving to the Space Force in the
financial year 2021.
The officials and enrolled faculty were handpicked to join
the Space Force as the service experiences growing demand for cyber security
talent.
These cyber specialists are required for "defensive
operations.
The cyber specialists will join in more than 2,400 space
experts who are currently moving to the Space Force.
The Space Force is building up its cyber security human
capital and technical abilities as satellites and ground systems become
progressively vulnerable against intrusions and electronic attacks.
Cyber security is an ever-propelling territory, and we
always need to stay before that threat.
Trump admin on Sept. 4 gave Space Policy Directive 5 focuses
on the cyber security of space systems.
The Space Force is investing in technologies to ensure
satellites and ground systems.
