Desktop Support Technician Obligations and Responsibilities: 

Computing Technician

  • Support development and implementation of new computer projects and new equipment installations
  • Help with developing long haul systems and functional organization for meeting future hierarchical equipment needs
  • Lead research on, and make suggestions for, products on the side of procurement and development times
  • Set up records and workstations
  • Perform on-site investigation, diagnosis, and resolving complex desktop issues for end-users, and suggest and execute remedial arrangements, including an off-site fix for remote clients varying
  • Install, design, test, manage, check, and investigate end-user and network equipment, peripheral gadgets, printing/scanning gadgets, presentation hardware, programming, and other products to convey required desktop service levels
  • Work together with IT colleagues to guarantee proficient operation of the company's desktop computing environment
  • Get and react to incoming support tickets with respect to technical issues
  • If that essential, liaise with outsider support and hardware merchants
  • Perform related obligations often with the scope and intent of this position
  • Arranging client accounts and access
  • Configure and deploy laptops

Computing Technician Qualifications:

  • Secondary School diploma or proportionate, as well as 1-3 years of work experience with related field.
  • Hands-on experience investigating PC and Mac PC and desktop equipment
  • Experience utilizing an ITSM ticketing system to track and resolve incidents
  • Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards
  • Solid client care attitude
  • Proven investigative and problem-solving capacities
  • Capacity to adequately organize and execute errands in a relentless environment
  • Great written, oral, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience controlling Active Directory, G Suite, Atlassian tools, and other software sellers
  • Group-oriented and skilled in working inside a community-oriented environment
  • Experience troubleshooting VoIP telephone systems
  • ITIL Framework experience is a plus
